TDVSB Pledges to Continue Work on Bullying
Ward 3 & 4 - What's Going On!
Written by See_Article
Monday, 25 July 2011

Tuesday, June 28, 2011 – Thames Valley District School Board Director Bill Tucker will be releasing a report at tonight’s Board meeting that details the commitment to carry on the work of the

Director’s Community Task Force on Anti-Bullying.

The committee has disbanded, but Tucker assures the community that the work to end bullying in Thames Valley
is far from over.

“The task force on anti-bullying has set a new standard for community discussion on this important issue.

The report highlights how each organization will tackle the issue of bullying in the future,” Tucker says.

He adds that the report summarizes the work and dedication of a unique partnership to address a community

problem. “A number of groups have taken the opportunity to refine what they are already doing, while others

have used the report as a springboard for new initiatives within their organizations and with other community

partners.”

In 1992 and 1993 Roberto Alomar, played a major role in bringing two World Series wins to Toronto. All of Canada rejoiced. Who can forget Alomar's key home run off Dennis Eckersley against the Oakland A's in the divisional playoffs?
