It Pays to Tell the Truth on Your Resume - Employers Check!

 "Click here to read the most common lies found on resumes according to Workopolis. The article also gives you hints on truthfully dressing up a thin resume. "

 Being Truthful When Writing a Resume -

The Truth Shall Set You Free

& Might Land You a Job

Let's say an employer posts an opening for an administrative assistant. The company receives 100 resumes. More and more companies insist that resumes be submitted electronically via email so that they can be scanned for key words and some resumes can be eliminated off the top.

If 50 Resumes make the initial cut, a human resources professional might quickly shuffle through the bunch and come out with 5 to 10 that deserve an interview. Those that get an interview can expect to get their resume scrutinized more than a Bible on Sunday during a typical 15 minute interview.

A Gardener's Green Thumb - Summer Blog #3

Everyday Care of Your Plants

If you really want to save money on garden supplies and tools, find a friend who gardens, buy larger amounts and split the cost. You can share tools too. After the work is done you can sit down, rest and have a drink. Sounds Good to me!

You Have to care for Your Plants Everyday!

This in Not Modern Art. It's not My Attempt at A "Nouveau Art" Sculpture.

In this photo you will find some of the things you will need for daily care of your plant. You can use bamboo canes or tomato cages for staking. Both work. You need cloth string to tie your branches when they sag.

Strips of old cloth rags work too and they are gentler on the plant. That's what my 82 year old Garden Pro (my mom) says.

You need a good watering can that isn't rusty. Hopefully it can hold a gallon of water.

Mother Teresa's "Anyway" Poem

People are often unreasonable, illogical and self centered;
Forgive them anyway.

If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives;
Be kind anyway.
