The program provides:

 Daily language practice speaking English in the community

A personalized learning planOne-to-one language coaching

A language support network

Small group instruction

Volunteer placement inthe community 

This is a community-based language-learning program to help you move out of the classroom with the necessary knowledge of the language and culture.  

If you are between levels 3-6 on the Canadian English Language Benchmark test and desire to improve your language skills, you are well suited for this program. 

You will learn about: 

Exploring your new communityand culture

Making friends and aquaintances

Starting and maintainingconversations in English

Accessing community resourcesto meet your family’s needs

Getting employment in Canada
