Mrs. Hockey: Colleen Howe Laid to Rest Colleen Howe, Gordie Howe's wife and the mother of his three sons who also played professional hockey in the World Hockey Association was laid to rest today in the Detroit Suburb of Bloomfield Hills. She had suffered from a rare neurological disorder similar to Alzheimers for many years. She was Gordie's agent at a time when hockey players had no agents.
