The Project was accomplished by an agreement between the City of London, The Province of Ontario, The Thames Valley District School Board and the The YMCA of London and Western Ontario. The addition to Northbrae Public School was fully paid for by the Province of Ontario and funding for the programs offered within the Northbrae Hub are also paid for fully by the Province of Ontario.
A Free Press article published on April 9, 2009, listed the Thames Valley District Board as performing the landlord role as the Northbrae Hub was built as an addition to the existing Northbrae Public School. It went on to state that "The YMCA pays a "modest amount of rent" to the Board for the space.
