A touching Story About the Late Peter Zezel - Dead at 44 | Print |  E-mail

Leafs fans will remember Peter Zezel as one of the key pieces of the Leaf's Team that nearly made it to the Stanley Cup Championship Round in 1993 and 1994. He was a hard working, hard checking skilled hockey player. Nothing flashy, no dumb penalties just a quality dependable player night in and night out.

He died yesterday at the age of 44 after a 10 year battle with a rare blood disorder.

Read this wonderful story from a a writer whose son attende the "Peter Zezel Hockey School" outside of Toronto once his hockey days were over. A tear jerker for sure. Click here.
