My wife and I had just moved to London in 2001 and we quickly became acquainted with the miracles that happen everyday in London's wonderful hospitals. Read the story about my cousin's son Riley by clicking on the link above.
Riley was operated on for brain cancer at that time in a marathon operation near Christmas. He is now 14 and doing well.
The Windsor Star just did a story on him that will help promote a fundraising run in Windsor for the Brain Tumor Foundation of Canada.
I just learned about it and I will be able to take part as I will be in my hometown of Windsor that weekend. The miracles performed at London's hospitals for Riley still amaze me and that is why we donate to the Children's Hospital. Miracles do happen and Riley proves it.
We will always give to London's Children's Hospital and Ronald McDonald House which houses so many families during the long surgeries and aftercare. It has helped so many people very close to my wife and I.
