On April 28 20090 a 2008 Toyota Corolla was stolen from a parking lot on Epworth Avenue. On June 2 2009 a 2000 Oldsmobile Alero was stolen from a parking lot on Sycamore Street. Both stolen vehicles were reported to Police.

On June 3 2009 a vehicle was broken into in a parking lot on Dundas Street and property was stolen from within and the owner reported this to Police. On June 4 2009 a residence on Chesnut Hill was broken into and property was stolen from within.

On June 4 2009 a vehicle in a parking lot on Richmond Street was broken into and property was stolen inside. This was reported to Police.
On June 9 2009 3:17 pm a Detective was in the area of Banberry Court located the stolen Toyota Corolla parked with no one inside.  At 3:44 pm Detectives observed a stolen Alero exiting a parking lot on Spiritwood Court. 

The stolen vehicle was followed to Pondmills Road and Cleveland Ave area. The stolen vehicle veered suddenly into oncoming lanes and attempted a u turn at which time one of the Detective drove unmarked police vehicle in an attempt to pin the vehicle. The driver accelerated up onto the curb and attempted to flee by driving along the sidewalk.

Other Detectives attempted to pin the stolen vehicle in. The driver accelerated the stolen vehicle directly into one of the detective’s vehicles causing them to collide.

The Detective exited his vehicle and the driver drove backwards at the Detective almost striking him.  Detectives went to arrest the suspect at which time he resisted arrest and kicked at officers almost striking one of them. The suspect was taken into custody. Police recovered stolen property from the numerous property related occurrences.Trevor Goessell 23 years of London is charged with five counts of resisting arrest, four counts of possession of stolen property under $5000, one count of possession of stolen property over $5000, possession of break and enter tools, assault with a weapon, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, and driving while disqualified.
