London Carnival Parade takes place Saturday, June 13. The parade will begin at 10 a.m. at Colborne St. and Dundas St. (Catholic Central High School), then travels west on Dundas St. to Richmond St., north on Richmond St. to Kent St., turns east on Kent St. to Clarence St.,

and turns south onto Clarence St. before ending at Victoria Park. The festival starts at 11 a.m. at Victoria Park and ends at 6 p.m. For more information, contact Johanna Maldonado by phone at 519-280-7054, or online at www.londoncarnivalparade.com.

¦ Friends of the London Public Library will be hosting a sale of the books on Saturday, June 27, in the central library’s Hudson Bay Passageway, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
