Neighbours Witness Police Chase in Mid-Afternoon Kipps Lane,
Firearms Arrest Not Long After School Lets Out
On Wednesday June 10 2009 at 3:40 pm Detectives located a wanted male in front of an address on Rosemary Walk. The male fled on foot and was arrested in front of a Kipps Lane address.
Prior to his arrest he was observed tossing a modified starter pistol loaded with two live rounds of .22 calibre ammunition modified to fit inside the handgun.
The male was arrested for his outstanding warrants including possession of two stolen vehicles and being unlawfully at large. The male is also charged with the following; A 17 year old male of London is charged with possess loaded handgun, possess handgun knowing no authority, unlicensed to possess prohibited weapon, carry concealed weapon, weapons dangerous, handle firearm in carless manner, possess firearm while prohibited and possess ammunition while prohibited.
