On July 19th, 2009, between the hours of approximately 9:30 p.m., and 10:40 p.m., the London Police Service received numerous calls regarding a van driving throughout the city and shooting unsuspecting victims with paintballs.
There were four separate documented incidents during this time period and six known victims who were shot at, or struck by paint balls.
At approximately 10:40 p.m., after the last reported incident a uniformed officer spotted the suspect vehicle and stopped it, arresting the five occupants within.
After further investigation, three males have been co-charged and the other two passengers were released unconditionally.
Brent CUMBY (19 years) of London, Murray ROLLINS (19 years) of London and Dallas POND (19 years) of London have each been charged with six counts of assault with a weapon, six counts of pointing a firearm and one count of possession of weapons dangerous to the public peace.
