REMINDER THIS SUNDAY

On August 16, 2009 at 4pm the London Police Service Soccer Team will play the WAFRIKA All-Star soccer team at the Fanshawe College sports field.

 This match is an exciting annual event and cultural exchange between the London Police Service and the African community in London. 

WAFRIKA is an organization representing community members from African countries who’s local soccer teams compete amongst themselves in weekly matches for recreation. 

The best players from those teams will form the WAFRIKA All-Star Team who will take on the London Police Service Soccer Team. The match will begin at 4pm. 

At 7pm, all the players will meet back at the London Police Headquarters, 2nd floor for an African Potluck and awards ceremony. 

SOCCER MATCH: 4PM-6PM Fanshawe College Sportsfield, 1001 Fanshawe College Blvd (Oxford St at First St)POTLUCK/AWARDS: 7PM-9PM London Police Headquarters, 2nd floor, 601 Dundas St (Dundas St at Adelaide St).
