London Police Service is currently conducting Project L.E.A.R.N. in the City.
Overnight, officers laid 42 Provincial Offence charges and By-law offences and 6 Criminal Code charges.
Of those 42 Provincial Offence charges laid 31 were students and 17 were non students.
The 6 Criminal Code charges were laid on one male (non student). On Friday September 4 at 12:40 am officers located a male in motor vehicle in Gibbons Park.
This male was found to be in possession of a loaded flare gun and in possession of a small quantity of marihuana and methamphetamine. This male was arrested and is charged with the following;
Jason Rockwood, 25 years of London is charged with possession of a firearm (flare gun) while being prohibited, breach of probation, possession of a weapon (flare gun) dangerous to public peace, carrying a concealed weapon, possession of marihuana and possession of methamphetamine.Police will continue to patrol the areas surrounding the downtown, the University of Western Ontario and Fanshawe College.
