Update;

On Thursday September 10 2009 at 10:54 am a 16 year old male confronted a 14 year old male over an unknown dispute at the rear of Sir George Ross Secondary School located at 365 Belfield Street.

The 16 year old male punched the 14 year old in the head knocking him to the ground. A second 16 year old male joined in proceeded to kick the 14 year old male in the head and stomach.

A 19 year old male went to assist the 14 year old and stabbed the 16 year old male.

A 16 year old male and a 17 year old male that were friends of the 16 year old male were also stabbed by the 19 year old male when they tried to intercede. 

At the same time the 14 year old male was struck in the head with a pipe by an unknown male who emerged from the crowd.  Each group separated.

Two 16 year old males of London are charged with one count of assault.During the altercation Police were called.  Police arrested a 16 year old male inside of the school, this male was not injured. Later a 16 year old male was arrested at a London address, this male received non life threatening stab wounds during the earlier altercation. The 19 year old male was also arrested.  The 14 year old male victim is no longer in hospital. The 16 year old male victim and the 17 year old victim are currently in fair condition.

 

Lawrence Lee Carrier 19 years of London is charged with three counts of Aggravated Assault.

Previous Release; Police have now arrested a second male for the incident that occurred at the rear of Sir George Ross Secondary.

A 16 year old male stabbed is currently in fair condition and a 17 year old male stabbed is in serious condition. The 14 year old male that was struck with a pipe is no longer in hospital.

Previous Release;

Police continue to investigate an altercation involving a group of males that took place at the rear of Sir George Ross Secondary School located at 365 Belfield Street.

Two males were stabbed and were taken to hospital with serious injuries. One male was struck with a pipe and was taken to hospital with non life threatening injuries.

The family members of the victims have been notified. For a period of time Northbrae Public School and Sir George Ross Secondary School were in lockdown, this is no longer the case.

Police arrested a male inside of the school. The investigation is continuing. More information will be provided when available. 


Previous Release;On Thursday September 10 2009 at 11 am Police were called to the rear of Sir George Ross Secondary School regarding a stabbing. Three victims have received injuries believed to be non life threatening.

Northbrae Public School are having the kids stay inside during lunch time while Police investigate and search for any suspect(s). The investigation is continuing and further information will be provided when available.
