Detectives from the Hate Crime Unit have continued to investigate a serious assault that took place on September 8 2009.
At 11:33 am the victim and a male acquaintance were travelling in a pickup truck eastbound on Kipps Lane near Belfield.
It is alleged that a hate based statement was said by the suspect following which the victim was struck several times with an object. The victim fearing for his safety jumped from the moving vehicle.
As a result of this investigation the London Police Service have applied for a warrant for the arrest of Alexander Myros, 22 years of London for aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, forcible confinement and two counts of uttering threats to cause death.
The suspect is believed to be currently in Western Canada but the exact whereabouts of the suspect is unknown at this time.

Previous Release;Police are investigating an incident that occurred on Tuesday September 8th at 11:33 am where a 22 year old male was observed exiting a black pickup truck while the vehicle was still in motion eastbound on Kipps Lane at Belfield Street.
The male was taken to hospital with non life threatening injuries and since has been released from hospital. At this time Police need to speak further with the 22 year old male to determine what exactly occurred. The investigation is continuing.
