Update;Daniel Stephen George 43 years of London is now charged with arson and remains in custody. His next court date is September 22nd. Previous Release;
On Sunday September 13 2009 at 1:45 am a 38 year old female returned to her residence on Clarence Street and located a known male inside. When she told the male to leave, the male swung a baseball bat and struck her on the shoulder. The victim left the residence to find help.
When the victim returned she found the residence fully engulfed in flames and Police and Fire Department were called. The 38 year old female victim received non life threatening injuries.
Daniel Stephen George 43 years of London is charged with uttering threats, assault with a weapon and being unlawfully in a dwelling house.
Police continue to guard the scene of the fire at 170 Clarence Street and that investigation is continuing.
