Suspect in Possible Kipps Lane Hate Crime Arrested |

Update; Update;Alex Myros was arrested last night at the London Airport and will be in court today. We are no longer looking for him. Thank you for your assistance. Previous Release; Detectives from the Hate Crime Unit have continued to investigate a serious assault that took place on September 8 2009. At 11:33 am the victim and a male acquaintance were travelling in a pickup truck eastbound on Kipps Lane near Belfield.
It is alleged that a hate based statement was said by the suspect following which the victim was struck several times with an object. The victim fearing for his safety jumped from the moving vehicle.
As a result of this investigation the London Police Service have applied for a warrant for the arrest of Alexander Myros, 22 years of London for aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, forcible confinement and two counts of uttering threats to cause death.
The suspect is believed to be currently in Western Canada but the exact whereabouts of the suspect is unknown at this time.
