Sunday, 27 September 2009
The London Police are continuing to investigate the year’s 11th traffic related fatality (compared to 3 during the same time last year).  On Saturday September 26th at approximately 2:14 p.m. (afternoon), a green full size pickup truck was travelling northbound on Veteran’s Memorial Parkway at a high rate of speed.

As the vehicle continued northbound through Oxford Street towards Huron Street it lost control, struck the shoulder of the road and then rolled over.

The two occupants were thrown from the vehicle.

One of the occupants, a 40 yr old male died as a result of his injuries, the other male is in hospital.

Police are asking anyone with any information about this collision to contact police at 519-661-5670 or the Traffic Management Unit at 519-661-5680.
