Quick Work by LPS Constables Nabs Suspect


On October 18 2009 at 1:57am London Police responded to a call in the area of Highbury Avenue and Cheapside Street
after a taxi cab driver called 911 to report a male left the cab without paying and threatened to break the windshield of the taxi.

The male left the area heading eastbound on Cheapside Street.  Officers searched the area and located the hiding in a bush in a wooded area at Cheapside Street and Fanshawe College Blvd.

  20 year old Sean Bingley  of Barrie Ontario was arrested and charged with obtaining transportation by fraud, uttering threats and being intoxicated in a public place.
