Generous Students At Wheable Adult Learning Centre Help Burned Out Family | Print |  E-mail

G.A. Wheable Adult Learning Centre is located right next door to the home on Jacqueline Street that was destroyed by fire this week.

Update: Read All about the Donation and see the photo on the Thames Valley Site by clicking here

In a very short period of time the students managed to raise $3,000 for their neighbours which was presented to them with a cheque earlier this week.
I obtained this news through a brief news release from the Thames Valley District School Board. At a time when so many groups like to hear their names praised for doing good deeds some just do the right thing.
I would like to thank this selfless students for their generous act of kindness when it was needed most.
I'm sure those affected by the fire on Jacqueline were stunned by your goodwill and the hard work it had to have taken to raise these funds.
