Public Service Announcement:

Accessing Ontario Works – Transit Strike

For Immediate Release November 16, 2009

The City of London - Ontario Works Office has made arrangements to ensure flexibility around accommodating participants who are impacted by the transit strike.

Ontario Works participants who can not attend scheduled appointments should contact their caseworker directly by telephone.  If you do not connect immediately with the caseworker, please leave a message on the caseworker’s voicemail and they will get back to you.

New Ontario Works applicants who can not attend a scheduled appointment due to the transit strike, should call 519-661-4807.

For all other inquires please call the main line at 519-661-4520.  Please be patient as the office is experiencing a high number of calls.
