The London Police Service is currently looking for any witnesses in relation to a shooting that occurred in the area of 95 Oakville Avenue on Friday November 20 2009.
Shooting - Oakville Ave. - Bullet Damage to Bus Shelter & Mac's Milk
At 8:11 pm Police responded to the area for a report of gun shots. Police located a pane of glass broken out of a bus shelter and bullet holes in the side of the nearby Mac’s Milk store. Witnesses report that after the sound of gun shots a vehicle fled the area westbound on Huron Street and three males ran eastbound. Police did not locate anyone injured in the area.
A vehicle was located in a parking lot on Huron Street with what is believed to be a bullet hole in the side of the car. The vehicle was seized and is being held for examination. At this time there are no further descriptions of the three males or persons inside of the fleeing vehicle. Further information will be provided when available.
