On Saturday November 28 2009 at 8 pm a 15 year old female was walking on a pathway alongside the south side of the river west of Adelaide Street North at Kipps Lane, when a dog off leash approached and bit her on the leg.

The owner of the dog was across the park and is only described as wearing a black hoodie. The female was treated at hospital.

At this time Police would like to speak with the owner of the dog to verify vaccination records. The dog is described as black lab. Anyone with any information is asked to contact Police at 519-661-5670 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS. You can also provide your tips online at www.londoncrimestoppers.com.
