London Police want to remind the public not to leave keys in the car and especially in the ignition.

Over the past two days there have been five out of six cars that have been reported stolen that were a direct result of the owner leaving their keys in the car or the car left running with no occupant inside.

This is an infraction under the By-Law and will result in charges being laid. London Police also reminds the public to remove any spare keys including the valet key from glove boxes. We all have a responsibility to reduce auto thefts and it begins with the owners.
