Theft at Zellers - Highbury & Huron - Security sprayed unknown substance in face | Print |  E-mail

On Tuesday December 29 2009 at approximately 8:29 pm a male left the Zeller’s located at 1275 Highbury Avenue without paying for product from within the store. When the suspect was approached by a loss prevention officer outside of the store, the suspect sprayed an unknown substance in his face.


The male victim received minor injury and the suspect fled on foot.  A female employee standing next to the loss prevention officer at the time caught some of the unknown spray in her mouth.


 
The suspect is described as a white male, 30-40 years old, 5’10 and approximately 236 lbs.Photos of the suspect are attached above.Anyone with any information is asked to contact Police at 519-661-5670 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
