String of 5 Robberies Believed to be Related - HELP NEEDED | Print |  E-mail

The following five robberies within the city are believed to be related;


INCIDENT #1

On January 16, 2010 at approximately 12:30am, a 19 year old male and a 19 year old female were walking east on Fanshawe Park Rd east of North Centre Rd when they were approached by two male suspects who brandished a knife.  A quantity of property was taken from the victims, who did not sustain any injuries as a results.  The suspects fled on foot.


The first suspect is described as a native male, 16-20 years old, 5’7” with a slim build and wearing a black hoody and black jogging pants.  His face was covered by a black bandana.The second suspect is described as black male, also 16-20 years old, 5’7”, with a slim build and wearing a grey hoody and grey jogging pants.  His face was covered with a red bandana.


INCIDENT #2

On January 16, 2010 at approximately 12:50am an 18 year old male was walking westbound on Philbrook Dr from Adelaide St when he was approached from behind.  The suspects held a knife to his stomach.  They obtained a quantity of property and fled on foot.  The victim was not injured.

The first suspect is described as a dark skinned male, 18-21 years with facial hair and wearing black sweater track pants with a sweater over his head.The second suspect is described as a black male, 18-21 years wearing a  white sweater, black bandana with white writing and a skull on the front.


INCIDENT #3

On January 16, 2010 at approximately 12:15am a 21 year old male was walking south on Richmond St near Huron St when he was approached by two males.  One male brandished a knife and forced the victim into a driveway.  The two suspects obtained a property from the victim and fled the area on foot.  The victim was not injured. The first suspect is described as a Hispanic male wearing a black hoody, dark jeans and a toque.The second suspect is a black male wearing a brown hoody and a baseball cap. He was medium build, and approximately 5'11".

INCIDENT #4

On January 16, 2010 at approximately 1:40am two 22 year old females were walking south on Proudfoot Lane near Oxford St when they were approached by two males who were in possession of a knife.  The suspects obtained a quantity of property and fled the area on foot.  The victims were not injured. The first suspect is described as a white male approximately 5'9" with a thin build wearing a  black T-shirt .  His face was covered with a dark cloth.The second suspect is a black male, approximately 5'11" with a thin build.  This male also had a black cloth covering his face.


INCIDENT #5On January 16, 2010, four 19 year old females and a 19 year old male were walking northbound on Richmond St near Huron St when they were approached by three males who brandished a knife.  A quantity of cash was taken from the victims and the suspects fled on foot.  


The victims were not injured. The first suspect is described as a black male, 20-30 years, 5’8”, 180lbs, slim build with a dark complexion and a slim build. He was wearing a brown bandanna and a brown hoody. The second suspect is described as white male, 20-30 years old, with a medium complexion and a medium build.  He is described as having facial acne.
