At 5:00pm on Friday, March 5th, 2010 members of the London Police Service Guns and Drug Section in partnership with the London RCMP Drug Section executed a search warrant at 3 Renny Crescent and a second at 5-962 Leathorne Street in London.
As a result, the following was seized by London Police: 1026 marijuana plants with a street value of over $1,000,000.00. 467 grams of marijuana bud, a quantity of Canadian currency and approximately $9000.00 in marijuana grow equipment.
Melissa Hayes, 35 and Garry Hayes, 45 of London are charged jointly with Possession for the purpose of trafficking as well as Production of a controlled substance contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. In addition, Garry Hayes is charged separately with Possession for the purpose of trafficking as well as the Production of a controlled substance contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
