On Tuesday April 13 2010 at approximately 6 pm a 19 year old male attended a residence on Highbury Avenue North and met with three males known to him. The three males proceeded to assault and detain the victim in the residence while trying to extort money out of him. The victim received non life threatening injuries.
Two of the suspects were also found to be responsible for breaking into the victim’s residence and stealing property from within. Three males were arrested and are charged with the following; David Fischer, 25 years, Dale McEachern, 25 years and Jason Sweeney 29 years all of London are charged with assault, forcible confinement and extortion. Dale McEachern and Jason Sweeney are additionally charged with break and enter.
