The London Police Service is presently investigating two occurrences in which lone females have been assaulted. In these cases an unidentified male approached a female walking in the Core area of London in the early morning hours.
Both of these victims were alone at the time and did not see the attacker prior to the assault. It is unknown if these incidents are linked or what the motive was behind the assaults.
Police are reminding the public to be cautious and avoid walking alone in the late evening to early morning hours.
