Down the Fire Poll and Off to Work at Station #4

100 year old Fire Hall on Colborne in Old North - Still Has its Poll - No Horses

When the 100 year old fire hall opened in Old North the Fire "Trucks" were pulled by "Prince" and "Lady" as Henry Ford hadn't quite invented the gasoline powered fire engine truck yet. This Hall was open during the recent "Doors Open" weekend when Londoners got a peak at some of London's most interesting buildings.

Let's Hope "Prince" and "Lady" got a nice retirement in the great beyond when their firefighting days were over.
