I gave Both Tomato Plants some "Miracle Grow" for Tomatoes this week. Fertilizer should be used according to the directions on the box or bottle it came in. Usually once every 3 or 4 weeks. There are many good brands of fertilizers for indoor and outdoor plants.
I use Schultz's Liquid Fertilizers for my Indoor plants. Staff at a greenhouse, garden center or hardware store can answer all your questions on fertilizer. Remember, "a little does a lot"
These are the first flowers that appeared on one of my "Patio Tomato Plants." From the flowers come the tomato, even if it is only the size of a pea.
Both plants are about 3 feet tall and I have tied both to stakes in the soil with string. Now is the time for patience. Keep the soil moist but not soaked and tie the plant back as it grows.
This is the same whether you are growing "Beefsteak" variety tomatoes in the garden on the ground or with the "Cherry Tomato" Variety. Once you see lots of flowers on your tomato plant, that's a good sign. The tomatoe's are not far behind.
