Many years ago during a February deep freeze in Sudbury I complained to one of my professors at Laurentian University about the weather. Now this was no oridinary professor. She was 50 years old and known to walk 3 or 4 km in the snow just for the exercise.
She turned to me and said "David, There is no such thing as bad weather in any season." "Just poorly dressed and poorly prepared people."
I haven't seen or heard of that devoted German Professor in over 20 years but her words stay with me. Give it some thought while we enjoy our hot humid summer.
