The problem of graffiti is now well known and the City of London and London Police Services is putting a great deal of money, manpower and time into the problem. The Northeastender would like to help in the fight against graffiti. All graffiti photographs on the site are now organized in one COLLECTIONmade up of geographically organized SETSfound on the Northeastender Photo Journal reached by one click on the main header of the site.
Utility boxes are frequent targets
I have contacted the COR Unit and asked how photos of graphitti taken by Londoners can help the LPS. I am currently working with a Constable in the COR Unit to develop the best way to use these photos. I have set up a COLLECTION with the photos I have taken over the past few years. Now it's your turn.
In the spirit of this User driven site I am inviting Londoners from across the City to submit photos of graphitti in their neighbourhoods. All that is needed is a photo of the graphitti with the approximate date of the photo and main intersection near the graphitti. No name or other info needs to be given.
