Tourism London, with a membership of more than 250 hospitality related businesses in London has elected Brad Rice as its President for 2011-2012.
Mr. Rice is Division Manager with Voyageur Transportation and Checker Limousine and was endorsedunanimously recently at the recent Tourism London Annual General Meeting.
In addition to Brad Rice as President, the Board also endorsed Hugh Mitchell, President-Elect, Glenn Wickert, Vice-President and Randy Pringle, Treasurer. Joe Drummond is the Past-President.
Elected to the Tourism London Board of Directors are; Gerry Champagne, Delta London Armouries Hotel London; Gary Curgin, CSTT; Deb Harvey, The Grand Theatre; Neil Kapp, East Park Golf Gardens; Bob Usher, Covent Garden Market; Rob Szabo, Palasad Billiard and La Fiamma Restorante, and Glenn Wickert, Westjet.
Returning to the Board are Lori DaSilva, London Convention Centre; Dan Grantham, Sutton Group Preferred Realty; Brian Ohl, John Labatt Centre; Janette MacDonald,Downtown London;
Frank Miller, UWO Hospitality Services; Mike Smith, Joe Kool’s; Dennis Winkler, Richmond Row Merchant Association; Bud Polhill and Paul Hubert, City of London. Tourism London, a public-private sector partnership with the City of London, is responsible for the promotion of leisure travel, conventions and sports tourism to the City.
Tourism is a $490.3 million dollar industry supporting more than 6,300 jobs in London.
