One winner will be selected from each category on Saturday, August 20, by a panel of 6 judges: Lisa Kokenyesi, Learning Coordinator - Visual Arts & Drama, and Literacy, Thames Valley District School Board; Mary Holmes, Visual Arts Coordinator, London District Catholic School Board; Lisa Armstrong, Terry Fox Foundation School Run Coordinator; Janice Zolf, Entertainment Editor, “A” television; Kathy Rumleski, Columnist, London Free Press; and Pasqualina Cardu, morning show personality, FREE FM 98.1.
The winning submission in each category will then be forwarded to the Terry Fox Foundation for consideration in the 2012 Terry Fox School Run Poster Competition.
The poster competition highlights the efforts of children from the London area, and helps to promote this important fund-raising event (the Run itself takes place on September 18).
Members of the Terry Fox Run organizing committee will be present between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. on each of the Saturdays, which coincide respectively with the East Coast Festival and Festa Italiana.
