If You Grew Up in London You Will Remember When .........

To learn much more about Covent Garden Market & its History click here.

I did not grow up in London. But I love history. Recently a new Facebook page has been set up called "If you grew up in London, you will remember when.................."

I know the author of the page and I read it frequently. I love learning about the people, places, buildings and history that make up London.

The next time you are on Facebook look up this page. A guy name "Butch McLarty" runs the page. He posts new stuff about London everyday and so do a lot of other Londoners who have many memories of our City.

To start you off, Butch recently posted a link to a site that tells great stories about Covent Garden Market from its very beginnings to its present building.

Did you know at one time the area in front of the market was used by street preachers and entertainers? To learn much more about this London landmark click here.
