Are there gangs on or near Kipps Lane. If you followed the Jodie Hoogstra Murder Trial in the London Free Press recently you would have seen talk of the "Kipps Lane Crew" frequently. There were a few mentions of the "H-Block."
Anyone who lives in the Kipps Lane - Huron-Bouillee - Adelaide area would have probably seen these graffiti tags over the past ten years. They were everywhere.
Testimony in the Hoogstra Murder Trial made frequent mention of "gangs," "alleged gangs," and the two gangs mentioned above.
There have been tags of many other gangs in this area: the Bloods, Crips, Trafalgar Heights Crew, White Oaks Crew and many others. There have been many arrests in this area involving drugs and break-ins.
Do these gangs exist or are they just pretenders? Are these just disorganized groups of vandals or are they real gangs? Gangs, small or large exist in most big cities. Do they exist in London?
Is the gang presence in Toronto making its way down the 401 to vulnerable neighbourhoods in London?
