The City’s 25 salters, all equipped with plows, are currently salting and scraping main roads.
Main streets are mostly bare and wet.
Sanders will move to side streets soon to salt/sand at intersection, hills and curves.
Garbage and recycling collection is off to a normal start. It is “4 Container Exemption” for Zone B today (Masonville, Whitehills, etc.) followed by each Zone until all zones have their extra service by January 5. It will be slow going for both services today due to the volume of material and road conditions.
