Rendition - For Full Plot Summary, Character Summaries and Filmography click here

Do you care about the situation in the Middle East and Post 9/11 Politics and World Affairs? Rent this Movie. Watch it. Then get on the Computer and do some research on the topic of "Rendition" with some reputable news sources like CBC or CNN. I'll get you started. Click Here for one of the best articles which I found on a very similar case to the one in the move. That is the case of the Canadian Maher Arar.

The movie "Rendition" quite frankly scared the hell out of me. It may have been "fiction" but it bore too many similarities to the Arar case for me to simply dismiss it. It straddles the line beween fiction and non-fiction. This is a well made movie as far as plot and character go. But all of that is secondary.

The movie keeps the readers glued to the set for the  entire movie. This is one DVD which should not fade away silently, even if there is only a few kernals of true to the concept of "Rendition." Something I have little idea about. If you like to exercise your mind, research and think about world events, treat yourself to this one.
