Written by See_Article
Friday, 25 July 2008

On Friday July 25 2008 at approximately 2:57am. an alert citizen called police reporting a possible
Break & Enter at Sir George Ross Secondary School.

Police attended and secured the school while the K-9 Unit began a search. Officers found a window smashed  out.

Once inside officers found a significant amount of damage done to the  interior of the school. Police located 2 youths attempting to hide on the roof of the school.

Both were arrested and taken to police cells. The preliminary  damage estimate is well in excess of $400,000.

A full estimate will not be available until later this morning once police and school officials can better assess the damage in the light of day. More information to follow when it is available.
