On Monday July 28 2008 at 1:22 pm Police were called to investigate a serious collision located at Highbury Avenue at Fuller Street.
A pedestrian rollerblading northbound on Highbury Avenue was struck by a cement truck that was turning right from Fuller Street to go south onto Highbury Avenue.
The adult male pedestrian was taken to hospital with serious injuries that are considered to be life threatening. Police continue to investigate. Traffic for north bound and southbound Highbury is still closed.
Previous Release;Be advised that the London Police Service is investigating a serious accident involving a pedestrian at Highbury Ave N at Fuller St. At this time police have blocked all northbound and southbound traffic between Jensen Rd and Hillcrest Avenue.
