On Friday April 25^th 2008 at 9:15 pm a male entered the Simpson Variety Store located at 1004 Oxford Street East. The male approached the 22 year old male clerk, enquired where an item was in the store, stabbed the clerk in the neck and fled on foot with a quantity of property. The victim called Police and was taken to hospital where he was treated for injuries considered to be potentially life threatening.  Police could not locate or identify the suspect at the time. Through further investigation by Detectives of the Robbery Unit and Major Crime Section of the Criminal Investigations Division, Jason Dahr, 33 years is found to be responsible for the April 25 2008 robbery at Simpson Variety Store.  Jason Dahr is charged with Robbery and Aggravated Assault.  Jason Dahr is currently in custody also facing a murder charge.
