Early Childhood Centre on Belfield -Off KIpps Lane Under construction in August
-55 place daycare run by YMCA staff. There is already a waiting list for the spots in this day care. -after school activities run by service providers for children, youth and families - after school activities will make use of gym and other school facilities - expected opening date Fall or October 2008
THIS IS NOT PART OF THE KIPPS LANE INITIATIVE - IT HAS BEEN IN THE PLANNING STAGES FOR THE LAST THREES YEARS.
KIPPS LANE INITIATIVE MAY PIGGYBACK ON SOME OF THE EARLY YEARS PROGRAM BUT IT IS NOT A PART OF THE KLI. THE KLI BEGAN IN MAY 2007.
THE FUNDING FOR THE EARLY YEARS CENTRE COMES TOTALLY FROM THE PROVINCE OF ONTARIO.
