The London Police Service reports that all suspects in this case have been identified, arrested and charged.  Four young persons in total, three females and a male have been charged with robbery with a weapon and having their face masked.
PREVIOUS RELEASE:On October 10th, 2008 at approximately 10:39 p.m., as the store clerk was closing the Kid's Corner Variety Store located at 274 Vancouver Street, three suspects entered the store. Two of the three brandished knifes and all had their faces covered. The store clerk complied with the robbers' demands and a quantity of merchandise and money was taken. The suspects fled from the scene on foot and the clerk was left unharmed. Police were contacted and London Police Canine unit attended and started tracking the suspects. The track led to merchandise from the robbery, which had been dropped by the suspects. Two of the suspects were arrested a short time later when they returned to retrieve their loot. As a result, a male young offender and a female young offender have been charged with robbery with weapon and having their face masked.
The London Police Service is still seeking the third suspect. Anyone with information regarding his incident is asked to contact London Police Service
at 519-661-5670 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
