Last June the London Knights gratiously opened their dressing room to fans who came for retiring Trainer Don Brankley's book signing. Visitors were encouraged to make a small donation to a local charity in a large Knights hockey sock. A win-win deal.

Brankley left behind 30 years of memorabilia in the dressing room which will inspire new members of the Knights team for decades to come. There are dozens of signed photos of Knights who made it to the NHL and some who didn't. There are priceless items gathered over the 30 years Brankley spent behind the Knights bench as trainer.
The dressing room is undoubtedly the finest in the OHL. It has it's own skate repair and sharpening area, a physiotherapy area, a weight training section and of course a spatious locker room. Players who enter this space must feel that they have joined a team with great tradition.
As I left with my signed book, and chatted with Brankley he told me that everything in the room was staying behind. What a classy way to say goodbye. He is leaving the Knights with a legacy and a great deal of tradition. Those are two elements that help teams win year after year.

I think Cann is a great goaltender too!!. It's a hard position to play because everybody cheers when you play well and boos when you make a mistake. I believe Cann will play in the NHL too. I gather from your comment that you are a goalie. Keep playing, practising and having fun. Learn how good goalies play and you will be a very good goalie.
