At approximately 8pm, Friday October 24th a male youth was approached by two females in the area of Dundas Street at Richmond Street.
One of the females demanded money, drugs or cigarettes. When the male victim didn’t provide them with any of their demands, one of the females struck the victim with a metallic object on the left side of his face.
A male suspect then approached the victim from behind and punched him in the nose. The 3 suspects fled with the victim’s wallet and some cash.
Police were called to the scene and quickly located and arrested the suspects. The male suspect fled but was apprehended after a short foot chase. The victim sustained minor injuries to his face. His wallet and cash were recovered by police.Jennifer PRINCZ, 18 years, is charged with one count of Robbery with Violence.Danny KAY, 20 years, is charged with one count of Robbery with Violence and one count of Escaping Lawful Custody.
A female Young Offender is charged with one count of Robbery with Violence and one count of Breaching an Officer-in-Charge Undertaking.
